PEACE WITH GOD

I ask you this question that someone asked me nearly 40 years ago, “If you were to die this very die, are you absolutely, 100% sure you would go to Heaven?” 

If you are not 100% absolutely sure, but you want to be sure, then you can take care of your eternal destination and relationship with Father God right now!

The gospel of Jesus Christ is super simple – and it is what I offer you for the salvation of your eternal soul: Christ died for our sins exactly how Scripture foretold, and He was buried and resurrected on the third day, again according to Scripture. He appeared to His followers and more than 500 eyewitnesses. The Bible says that if you believe with your heart that Jesus is alive and you confess Him as Lord God, you will be saved. The Bible says that anyone who trusts Him and calls upon who He is will have eternal life. How do you call on Him? It makes very simple sense that to call simply means to talk or pray to Him and ask. 

I offer this prayer to you – the praying of the prayer won’t necessarily save you, but the believing and praying will certainly transfer your citizenship from the earthly to the Heavenly. 

Father God, I know that only You are good. I have sinned against Your goodness, I have done everything my way instead of trusting You. I am sorry, God, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe Jesus Christ is Your son, and I believe He died for my sin, and I believe He was raised from the dead, and He alone is my hope for eternal life. I want You to be my Lord, and I want to follow You as best I can. Save me, Father! Thank you, Lord!!

Do your best to read the Bible and pray when you can every day. My book suggests reading Psalm 1 and studying it intently for two weeks, then moving on to a New Testament passage for another six weeks. May I suggest that you spend that time in John 1:1 – 18?

Find a local church that is both loving and teaches each sermon or lesson from the Bible.
